03 / Make it personal
Every home has its own sounds.
3 EXAMPLES. ONE NEW ALERT.
Your washing machine's little jingle. That particular door chime. Teach LoudNotice what matters to you.
Your sounds
Only numeric sound fingerprints and labels are saved. Test audio stays in memory for this session.
Made personal. Shared with care.
Set up for someone you care about
A hearing family member teaches the sounds of that home and adjusts the preferences.
Choose Export setup to save everything in one file.
On their device, choose Import setup, then test the sounds together.

Awareness, with privacy built in.
LoudNotice uses Google's YAMNet through MediaPipe Tasks Audio to recognize sounds on your device. It checks a one-second window every half-second, groups related labels, and turns matches into visual alerts. Taught sounds compare a 521-category fingerprint and a 32-band frequency profile with your examples.
Your audio stays yours.
Microphone audio is never uploaded or saved. Taught fingerprints, labels, preferences and alert history are stored in this browser. The model and runtime download from Google and jsDelivr; those hosts receive ordinary download requests. No accounts, trackers, or paid APIs.
A helpful prototype, not a safety device.
Noise, distance and similar sounds can cause missed or mistaken alerts. Confidence is a model score, not a calibrated probability. Keep certified alarms and other accessibility aids. Background tabs and locked screens may pause audio. Notifications do not keep listening alive.
